Sweet Fruit and Cracker Bites

The other day I was in the mood for a small snack. I was craving something sweet, but wanted to have something I could feel good about eating. So I improvised and put together a few crackers topped with a dab of Homemade Peanut Butter and a piece of fresh fruit. The result was a simple, healthy, and tasty snack that has quickly become a go-to favorite.


  • Whole Grain Crackers, unflavored (e.g. Wheat Thins)
  • Peanut Butter, Nutella, and/or Jam
  • Fresh Fruit


  1. Place a dab of the spread of your choice on each cracker, and top with a piece or two of fresh fruit.
  2. Eat. Enjoy.


Like I said, so simple, yet so tasty. It’s a healthy snack that includes whole grains, protein, and fruit. And as a bonus, since this was a new concoction for me, it helped to satisfy another recipe for my 50 in 15 Challenge.

I recommend a simple unflavored wheat cracker like Wheat Thins, which are the perfect size, and whose flavor doesn’t overpower the spread and fruit. My personal favorite variation is to use both Peanut Butter and Nutella, with a mix of strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, and banana slices. Feel free to experiment with different crackers, spreads, and fruits, based on your own personal tastes.
